by Krishna Das (Author)

Chants of a Lifetime offers an intimate collection of stories, teachings, and insights from Krishna Das, who has been called "the chant master of American yoga" by the New York Times. Since 1994, the sound of his voice singing traditional Indian chants with a Western flavor has brought the spiritual experience of chanting to audiences all over the world.

This unique book includes an audio download of private chanting sessions with the author — making it feel as if Krishna Das himself is present for a one-on-one kirtan experience. Explore your own practice and deepen your connection to the transformative power of chanting.

Also included: photos from Krishna Das's years in India and his life as a kirtan leader.

About the Author

In 1968, Krishna Das met Ram Dass and was inspired to travel to India, where he spent three years with the legendary guru Neem Karoli Baba. There, his heart was drawn to Bhakti Yoga — the yoga of devotion — and especially to kirtan. He returned to the US and developed his signature style, fusing traditional kirtan with Western harmonic and rhythmic sensibilities, now sharing this practice with thousands worldwide.
